We are a Warrior Cats inspired roleplay that follows the story of a court of cats trying to make it in the wild and often supernatural world they live in. The Court was formed in roleplay June 2019 as both the Court’s founding month and when the roleplay began.

We are a liquid time Discord roleplay that explores a variety of themes such as found family, horror (cosmic/body/existential variety), magic, fantasy, exploring past mistakes, seeking forgiveness, and dealing with the damage others have done to you. The Court cats live in modern day Texas, dealing with a unique blend of issues from the horrors and preternatural events that occur in the very land they live on...
They have recently discovered the world is ending. Life is leaving the world, and the goal of the Court is to preserve and help as many others as they can-- bringing them to the Green Cave where they live and preparing to fight against a force in a battle that no one's completely certain can be won. The goal seems lofty... but with enough paws, doable.
The Court is a group of (mostly) normal, mortal cats who have been put in a situation they couldn't have guessed would be so...odd. Players learn about the world and find answers at the same time their characters do—we expect no prior knowledge of you!
Though we are Warrior Cats inspired, we are heavily divorced from the books, with the only real connection being that some cats have come from clans. The original Warrior Clans have been destroyed by illness in BLBR canon, but there are some offshoots or fanclans existing for backstory purposes.

Current Arc: Belly Of The Beast [Final Arc]
Weather: After long days of summer, the grass and plant-life has soured a crispy yellow and the air is humid and hot nearly always. It is only this week that days of 100F/37C weather break, making 89F/31C feel like a dream. The breeze is cooling, and the shade is actually tolerable now and the ground no longer burns paws.
Prey: Running alright on Court Lands. Outside of that, prey is becoming scarce.
Recent Plots: Bright Realms Expeditions, Council meetings, and interpersonal drama!

Overall Atmosphere:
"Wait, the world is ending?"
The Court has just found out, through a combination of Spades and Cenzo, that magic is draining from the world. This will, eventually, cause the end of the world unless the Court cats can do something to stop it. The question is... what can they do?
"The Council has just been refreshed, let's see what this new group works on!"
The Council refresh happened just after the revelation that the world is ending. How will they prevent the impending doom? Right now, they seem focused on cleaning up some loose ends within the Court.
"The Bright Realms is calling for us... and it doesn't seem happy."
Expeditions in the Bright Realms are becoming more frequent, but no less dangerous. The Court cats are taking steps to prepare for their next foray into this strange place, and are considering how to avoid an untimely doom in doing so.
"The Court’s big and blossoming... but is now really the time for kittens?"
The Green Cave is full of cats from all walks of life, and many Court members have settled down to start families. The question is... how are they going to ensure their families remain safe?
"Someone said our next trip is to the Library. I'm nervous... but excited too!"
The expedition to the Bright Realms' Library is right around the corner, a trip that has been many years in the making. However... are the Court cats ready for what they're going to find?
